I’m not sure of my actual Language level, Will I be tested?
Generally speaking, there will be a level test on the first day. However, nowadays more and more schools offer online tests, saving time on the first day, allowing you to go straight to class.
Will there be many students from my country on the course? How about my accommodation?
All of our schools have a mixed nationality policy, ensuring that no more than one given nationality attend at any given time. Generally speaking, and depending on the school 20% would be the maximum.
In case you book a host family, the majority of our schools guarantee you will be the only one with your native tongue in the family. However if you book student residence/apartments this cannot be guaranteed and it’s more likely that you will share with students from your native language.
With regards to JUNIOR programs, nationality mix is not guaranteed but there is a strict policy and all group leaders make sure students practice their language skills while enjoying their language adventure.
How do you guarantee the quality of the school?
We are members of Alto and Wise which are internationally recognized language travel agency association.
All of our schools are either members of IALC or another quality recognized organization.
Will I get a certificate upon course completion?
The school will issue a certificate with current level and number of weeks and hours studied.
In order to receive this certificate, students must attend at least 80% of their lessons.
Is there a deadline to book my course?
Generally speaking there is no deadline, you can book at the last minute; however, we recommend you to book in advance to avoid disappointment as sometimes availability is limited.
We recommend students who need a visa book their course at least 2 months in advance (more for some countries).
During the summer months and when accommodation is needed we also recommend you to book your course as soon as possible.
To guarantee the course you ask for a deposit payment. What happens if after I pay there are no places left on the course?
In case you pay the deposit and there are no places left on the course or accommodation booked, we will refund you the money and offer you alternative options in order to ensure you the best possible service.
When will I receive my confirmation documents?
Once a deposit has been made and the school confirms your booking. This process can take from 2 hours to a week and depends on which season. Summer is high season and bookings can take longer.
When will you send me the accommodation details?
Generally speaking one or two weeks prior to your course start date or as soon as the school sends it to us.
What do I do if I don’t like my accommodation?
If you don’t like your accommodation, all schools have a housing department and once you arrive at the school you can go and speak to them and they will assist you. All our language schools prioritize your welfare so please speak to them if you encounter any problems.
Can somebody who’s not doing the course stay with me at the accommodation?
Generally speaking if there are spaces at the chosen accommodation, schools are pretty flexible. However sometimes in high season this is not possible.
Another difficulty is to receive visitors during your stay; schools may try but can’t always guarantee a place for your visitors.
When should I book my flight?
Generally speaking if you have booked accommodation we recommend you not to book your flight until you receive your booking confirmation from us directly.
In some cases, when booking a course without accommodation, this is not so critical but we can’t guarantee a place until you receive your confirmation document.
How do I get from the airport to the accommodation?
We offer an airport pick up service at an additional fee.
This service must be booked with certain types of accommodation (not all locations apply).
If you don’t want to book this service, we will also provide you with the transport information to find your accommodation/school. (map)
Do you organize my visa for me?
Unfortunately we don’t take care of the visa procedure for you. However once we have received payment from you, our schools will provide the Acceptance letter needed to apply for the visa. Remember, it’s your responsibility to go to the embassy in your country in order to obtain the visa.
Why do you need my arrival details?
If you have booked an airport transfer and in order to guarantee this service it’s compulsory to provide us with this information at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
If you’ve booked accommodation and in order for us to guarantee your smooth arrival, our schools require your arrival details to ensure there will be somebody either at the Homestay or at the alternative accommodation to welcome you at the appropriate time.
How can I cancel my course?
We have a flexible cancelation policy and we will always look at each case individually. In order for us to cancel your booking, we need to receive it in writing either by email or fax to: +34.91.101.4491. Depending on the date you cancel and according to our policy we will charge you an amount that will be deducted from what you have already paid and we will refund you the difference.
