Standard Course (Conversational Chinese)

The ´Star´ course offers daily classes with a trained, experienced Chinese teacher. Particular attention is paid to practical learning skills of speaking, listening and reading phonetics. Each day consists of 4 classes. The first two will focus on a general review of language and vocabulary. The second two classes deal with Chinese grammar and then a general conversation with the class. Topics include Chinese history and cultural issues.

Intensive Chinese (Comprehensive Chinese)

The course concentrates on teaching the four fundamental points of language learning; listening, speaking, reading and writing. All teachers are highly experienced and extremely well prepared to give students an interesting and high standard of teaching. Our students are often amazed at how much they learn in a short period of time.

Group + Private Course

You can choose between the Standard or Intensive course with additional private lessons. The one-to-one intense Chinese lessons focus on areas of personal interest such as Business Chinese for professionals, or Chinese history and culture for those with a more general interest. Group classes always contain students from all over the world which maintains a stimulating and positive environment in which to learn.

Executive Private Tutoring

You will first of all discuss your main objectives with a private tutor. From this discussion we will be able to identity the areas you need to improve on or learn. All our tutors have a great deal of experience in finding the best method to help you with your Chinese and all are native speakers. We specialise in Business Chinese, building vocabulary and training in pronunciation. The course is flexible so that you can arrange the classes around your own free time.

Long Duration Course

The course offers 30 lessons per week, 4 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Morning classes focus on the practical side of Chinese; listening and speaking. In the afternoon you will learn Chinese characters and learn how to read and write whilst strengthening your conversational skills. This course is ideal preparation for students who want to go on to a Chinese university and are held from between 3 to 12 months.

Family Programme

The family will be divided during class time. Children will join the junior language and activity programme while adults will take part in the adult course. Junior pupils receive 20 classes per week as well as one recreational activity per day and on Saturdays there are excursions around the city. The adult course offers 30 classes per week and includes the Saturday excursion. The family will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
