The ´Star´ course offers daily classes with a trained, experienced Chinese teacher. Particular attention is paid to practical learning skills of speaking, listening and reading phonetics.
Each day consists of 4 classes. The first two will focus on a general review of language and vocabulary. The second two classes deal with Chinese grammar and then a general conversation with the class. Topics include Chinese history and cultural issues.

The course offers 30 lessons per week, 4 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.
Morning classes focus on the practical side of Chinese; listening and speaking. In the afternoon you will learn Chinese characters and learn how to read and write whilst strengthening your conversational skills.
This course is ideal preparation for students who want to go on to a Chinese university and are held from between 3 to 12 months.

The family will be divided during class time. Children will join the junior language and activity programme while adults will take part in the adult course.
Junior pupils receive 20 classes per week as well as one recreational activity per day and on Saturdays there are excursions around the city. The adult course offers 30 classes per week and includes the Saturday excursion.
The family will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
