City Info

Portsmouth, on the south coast of England, is sheltered from the wind and tends to have a milder climate than other parts of England. This thriving seaside holiday resort is a fascinating centre of maritime history where you can visit historic ships like the HMS Victory, castles, forts and museums on the topic. It was also the birth place of Charles Dickens and is the home to Spinnaker Tower, the 170m high visitor attraction, that overlooks the Portsmouth harbour.
