English in South Africa

About the Country

South Africa has so much to experience that it is difficult to know where to start. Enjoy the vast beauty of the desert as it transforms before your eyes; go on safari and hope to see the Big 5 in some of the world's most famous national parks or take a journey through the country's heritage sites and gain a deeper knowledge of the people and their history.

Vibrant and cosmopolitan Cape Town will woo you with its stunning waterfront and impressive backdrop of Table Mountain as will many other parts of this marvelous country. Don't leave without visiting the Drakensberg, Kruger National Park or taking a drive along the Garden Route on the Southern Coast and of course without visiting the infamous prison Robben Island that is now an unmissable museum.
