BLS is based in a modern and spacious building with 15 bright, air conditioned classrooms. There is free internet access and WIFI throughout the building along with self study rooms for the students to use throughout the day.

The school offers a wide range of general French courses and combination courses including French & Surfing, French & Golf and French and Bordeaux wine.

The school is a 20 min walk or 10 min bike ride from the town centre.

The coastal resort of Biarritz, just 8km down the road from Bayonne, became known as a surfers paradise around 1957 when the first surfers started to arrive. Now known the world over as some of Europe's best surfing, the town is an eclectic mix of wealthy Parisians, family holidaymakers and backpackers a grand change from its humble origins as a little Whaling town.

With 6km of coast many activities are water related, however on dry land you shouldn´t miss climbing the 258 steps of the 73m tall Phare de Biarritz. This lighthouse dates back to 1834 and for your climbing efforts you will be be rewarded with sweeping sea views of the Basque coast line. Another hard to reach, but well work the views, landmark is the "Rocher de la Vierge" or "Rock of the Virgin" named after its white statue of the Virgin and child.
On a fine day the views from this impressive location extend all the way to the mountains of the Spanish Basque Country.
