Standard Italian

Each group is taught by two teachers in order to give students more variation and stimulation. Teachers use the method of only communicating in Italian which means you will be able to learn and express yourself quickly. Groups are kept small to ensure every student has the chance to speak and at Linguaviva particular emphasis is placed on developing speaking and writing skills.

Super-Intensive

The course combines the standard course with one-to-one lessons. Individual lessons allow the student to concentrate on improving specific areas of language learning and developing the abilities and vocabulary needed for their professional life.

One-to-One Course

The course offers two or more teachers which maintain stimulation and offers variation to the student. Each teacher will supply the student with the information they needs to reach their goal. Each individual programme will be tailored to the pupils aims and identified as an area in need of improvement.

Italian + Cooking Course

With our culinary Art school partner, we offer an exciting course combining Italian classes in the morning with cooking classes in the afternoon. The culinary programme is given in Italian so a basic knowledge of Italian is required to take this course. Each lesson will focus on the step by step procedure of preparing a complete menu of Italian food and how to select and combine traditional Italian ingredients.

Italian + Arts

Working with the Art School Partner Linguaviva offers an intensive monthly programme with a difference. The course combines the standard Italian course in the morning with Art classes in the afternoon. The classes are given in Italian so a basic level of Italian is required. Students can choose from the following options: Fashion design, Interior design, Classic photography, Digital photography or Painting.

Intensive Italian

In the morning you will develop your general Italian skills and in the afternoon you will concentrate on your listening, speaking and reading skills. You will be given an insight into Italian lifestyle and culture through lectures and language activities.

Cultural Programme for Seniors

The course combines a pleasant holiday in Italy with Italian tuition and the opportunity to discover more of the Italian culture. Courses take place in Florence during the Spring and Autumn season. Participants can enjoy the chance to experience the very best in Italian gastronomy with lessons in traditional meditaranean cuisine. Also, there are many excursions in and around Tuscany. One day excursions to Siena and San Gimignano, Cinque Terre and half day excursions to Pisa or Lucca and Chianti wine tasting. as well as visits to artistic and historic locations, lectures on cultural subjects and food and wine tours.
