Based in Tenjin in the heart of Fukuoka city, Genki school has 13 classrooms and a large communal lounge for students to relax in. GenkiJACS has been nominated as one of the world's top language schools,
and not just from Japanese language schools, but overall every year from
2009 to 2011. They are one of only two Japanese language schools in the
world that are accredited by IALC, the International Association of
Language Centres, and the only one that focuses on Western students.
They offer courses in a range of areas, including conversational Japanese, pop culture, Japanese culture, and study for exams, all with an emphasis on practical work, inside and outside of the classroom. All of their teachers are graduates of a rigorous 420-hour Japanese teacher training programme.

| The teachers were top notch. In every instance they were able to teach to extremely high standards whilst simultaneously making interesting and, perhaps more importantly (especially for me), fun lessons. Whatever I am studying I will never improve if I am not enjoying the subject. The ethos instigated by the GenkiJACS' teachers meant that this was not a problem - it was always fun and consquently I was able to learn a lot on my intensive course. Abs Tangri, United Kingdom |
