Robert K. (PhD)What I like about COSI is the attention that the entire staff demonstrates with regard to all aspects of the study abroad experience. The classes, housing and tour arrangements could not be any better. Since I take students from the United States to Costa Rica every year, I had to find a well established institute with reliable personnel. After interviewing directors from various schools as well as visiting their premises, I had no difficulty choosing COSI. Their staff will do everything possible to help the student master the Spanish language in a very friendly environment. They are also there to help in any situation that may arise. My students and I are thoroughly satisfied.

City Info

San José the capital of the country and considered by many to be the "real" Costa Rica has many museums, theaters, international restaurants, discos and bars providing a lively enviroment during the week and an even better one on the weekends.

‘Ticos’ the nick nane for Costa Ricans, are extremely friendly and welcoming, so be sure to join in on some of the ‘fiestas’ and enjoy the local music, plays and dances at the remaining colonial theatres. The market places is also a must see.
