| I attended ECELA in Lima for 3 weeks, and I had the most fun, amazing, unique, and unforgettable experiences. The people who run ECELA are very friendly and approachable. The teachers challenge their students on a daily basis to learn the Spanish language, but at the same time make learning fun through interesting, interactive conversations and various educational games. | What stands out to me is the quality of ECELA's team in Lima. They are very friendly and make a lot of effort to welcome and get to know their students. At the same time, they are very professional. The school is in a spacious building on a quiet street, walking distance from the sea as well as good restaurants and bars. The teachers are patient, and they smile a lot. They take a clear and structured approach. But they also work hard to ensure that classes are enjoyable - humorous and fun - and based on interesting subjects and materials, including videos, recordings and newspapers. There are breaks between classes to give you a chance to relax and enjoy a coffee, fruit, and pastries. The result is a relaxed and informal environment, interesting and effective lessons, and a friendly community where you meet a wide range of people. The weekly social activities help you get to know Lima, learn about Peru's culture (including trying your hand at mixing cocktails and cooking, or your feet at dancing), and to travel further afield. All in all, it's a great environment for learning. Martin Endicot, UK | |
| Continued...... ECELA provided snacks and drinks during break time,
which was great to keep students going until their next meal.
Additionally, ECELA had optional events throughout the week that enabled
students to get out and explore the area with their peers. Studying
Spanish in a country that speaks Spanish as its native language is the
best way to learn. I lived with a Peruvian family as well as conversed
in Spanish on a daily basis in order to get places via taxi, order food
at a restaurant, ask for directions, and more, so I was fully immersed
in the Peruvian culture and Spanish language, enabling me to learn
quickly. I highly recommend ECELA, and look Carly Brennan USA |
