The school is located in the centre of the village in a traditional Andalusia house complete with a large tropical garden. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and shops.

Our teachers are Philology and Arts graduates, who are all specialists in the teaching of Spanish and form a well co-ordinated, enthusiastic team ready and able to make your learning experience as enjoyable and effective as possible.

Being in the city of Nerja was wonderful. There are many small shops and Tapas Bar in small alleys. If you want to travel and get out of Nerja, there are many daily buses between Malaga and Nerja. Regarding the School, Club Costa Nerja's welcome was really nice. The school was beautiful, the teachers were very nice and kept classes very active so we would not get bored. Plus, the text book design was very attractive. I traveled in October, and it was perfect because the school was not overcrowded and it was still warm enough to go to the beach.

Intensive Spanish Course

Who is this course for?	Students who want to improve their general communication skills in a relaxed but focused environment.
Syllabus	The course offers 20 hours per week. Teachers are fully trained in teaching the communicative method which places particular emphasis on the performance of tasks which enable skills to be practiced and developed. Students come from all over the world to study at Nerja and it is well renowned as an international and friendly school. The school uses ´Task based approach´ with only Spanish spoken in class. Student are assessed every two weeks and individually monitored. Upon completion of the course, students receive a certificate from the school.

Who is this course for?	Students with specific individual needs in general or professional Spanish. Specialising in Business, tourism and medical language.
Syllabus	This course offers between 20 or 30 lessons per week. A custom made course designed around the participants requirements. Your individual tutor can assist with preparation for examinations such as the Diploma in Spanish as a foreign language. Alternatively, pupils can focus on more general topics for overall improvement in Spanish as the student can direct the course of study. This is the ideal option for students with particular aims and goals.

'Club 50+' Course

Who is this course for?	Students aged 50 or over who would like to enjoy a cultural experience whilst learning Spanish in a beautiful setting.
Syllabus	The course offers 15 hours of class per week and lasts for two weeks. Spanish classes take place in the morning and you will receive expert tuition from one of our native teachers who are all qualified and experienced. Afternoons include cultural activities with an excursion on Saturdays. Activites include cooking traditional Spanish meals, historical lectures, wine tasting and Spanish Cinema. This is the ideal course to enjoy learning more about Spanish customs and culture.

Located in the old quarter Club Costa is just a couple of minutes walk away from the school and the beach. There is a comfortable terrace and swimming pool with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Nerja is located on the Costa del Sol, famous for its beautiful idyllic beaches and tranquility. It is a village 50 miles from Malaga with around 20,000 inhabitants. Surrounded by beautiful mountains it has the ideal climate with an average temperature of 20 degrees.
